MAXURETHANE INJECTION MONO

MAXURETHANE INJECTION MONO is a one-component mortar based on polyurethane resins, designed for stopping active water leaks, sealing cracks and consolidating soils by injection, even under high hydrostatic pressure.

MAXURETHANE INJECTION MONO is a water-reactive, hydrophobic injection resin that reacts quickly on contact with moisture, generating a semi-rigid waterproof foam with an expansion ratio of up to fifteen times its initial volume. Once cured, the foam does not absorb water and maintains high dimensional stability, without shrinkage or swelling during dry or wet cycles. Thanks to its low viscosity, MAXURETHANE INJECTION MONO penetrates deeply into fine cracks, fissures and voids, ensuring effective sealing and long-term performance. Its solvent-free formulation provides excellent chemical resistance and durability, making it suitable for demanding civil engineering and building applications where permanent water cut-off and structural consolidation are required.

Applications

  • Stopping and sealing active water leaks in cracked or honeycombed concrete structures.
  • Injection sealing of cracks and joints in tunnels, basements, foundations and retaining walls.
  • Filling voids, fissures and cavernous areas in masonry, stone substrates and concrete.
  • Soil consolidation and stabilization in civil engineering works.

Advantages

  • One-component system, easy to use with standard injection equipment.
  • Hydrophobic reaction with water, without the need for additional water injection.
  • High expansion capacity and excellent penetration into fine cracks.
  • Stable, durable foam resistant to hydrostatic pressure and chemical agents.
  • Solvent-free formulation with long-lasting mechanical performance.

Mode of use

Pour MAXURETHANE INJECTION MONO into a clean, dry container, add the required catalyst percentage, mix thoroughly and inject using one-component equipment into prepared cracks or voids.

Consumption

Consumption varies depending on crack width, void volume and injection conditions; an on-site preliminary test is required to determine the exact material requirement.

Presentation

MAXURETHANE INJECTION MONO is supplied in 5 kg and 25 kg metallic drums, with compatible catalyst and cleaner available in dedicated packaging.

Precautions and safety

Use protective gloves, safety goggles and suitable protective clothing. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, ensure adequate ventilation and follow standard safety precautions during injection works.
