MAXURETHANE INJECTION

MAXURETHANE INJECTION is a two-component hydroreactive polyurethane injection resin designed for stopping active water leaks, soil consolidation and filling of voids or cracks in concrete and masonry structures.

Formulated as a 100% solids, solvent-free resin, MAXURETHANE INJECTION reacts quickly with water forming a semi-rigid waterproofing foam that expands up to fifteen times its original volume. Its hydrophobic character ensures permanent dimensional stability, resisting shrinkage or swelling caused by wet or dry conditions. With adjustable gel time using MAXURETHANE INJECTION CAT, this product adapts to multiple jobsite conditions. Easy to apply with one-component pumps, it penetrates deeply into substrates thanks to its low viscosity and provides durable chemical resistance against solvents, diluted acids and alkalis, while withstanding high hydrostatic pressures. MAXURETHANE INJECTION is the ideal solution for civil engineering works, tunnels, basements, dams, water tanks and sewer systems.

Applications

  • Sealing and filling of cracks and fissures in wet concrete or masonry exposed to hydrostatic pressure.
  • Water cut-off in tunnels, galleries, basements, retaining walls and below grade structures.
  • Soil consolidation and stabilization in foundations and civil engineering projects.
  • Leak sealing in dams, reservoirs, swimming pools and wastewater systems.

Advantages

  • Hydrophobic system that reacts with water without additional injection.
  • Low viscosity ensuring deep penetration into fine cracks and voids.
  • High expansion ratio and dimensional stability once cured.
  • Resistant to chemical attack and high hydrostatic pressures.

Mode of application

Mix components A and B in the correct ratio, then add 2–10% catalyst depending on desired reaction time. Inject with one-component pump through packers until cracks or voids are completely filled. Clean tools immediately.

Consumption

Consumption depends on crack width, void size and substrate porosity; preliminary onsite testing is recommended to determine exact coverage under specific conditions.

Presentation

MAXURETHANE INJECTION is supplied in 5 kg and 25 kg metallic drums for components A and B. Catalyst and cleaner are also available in 5 l, 25 l and other formats.

Precautions and safety

Use protective gloves, goggles and safety clothing during handling and injection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and ensure adequate ventilation. Follow the Safety Data Sheet for storage and disposal.
