MAXURETHANE -AC
MAXURETHANE AC is a two-component, water-based aliphatic polyurethane coating designed to provide a high-conductivity, durable, and UV-resistant finish for industrial floors and surfaces.
Formulated with conductive particles, MAXURETHANE AC offers long-term color stability, excellent adhesion, and superior resistance to abrasion and weathering. It ensures durable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments and forms part of a complete conductive flooring system when applied over the graphite-based MAXEPOX PRIMER AC with copper bands connected to earth. The product combines high conductivity, low environmental impact, and a bright, easy-to-clean surface, ideal for professional and industrial use.
Applications
- Conductive flooring in operating rooms, clean rooms, and laboratories with pedestrian traffic.
- Floors in electronic and precision industries requiring controlled static discharge.
- Industrial areas demanding both conductivity and high cleanliness or explosion safety.
Advantages
- High abrasion resistance suitable for frequent pedestrian traffic.
- Durable and UV-resistant with long-term color stability.
- Applicable on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Bright finish, easy to clean, and non-flammable formulation.
- Water-based and solvent-free, suitable for poorly ventilated spaces.
Application method
Mix components A and B at a ratio of 11:1 using a low-speed drill for 2–3 minutes until uniform. Apply two coats over MAXEPOX PRIMER AC, allowing 90 minutes between coats at 20°C.
Consumption
Approximate consumption: 0.2 kg/m² per coat, for a total of 0.4 kg/m². Perform an on-site test to determine exact coverage according to substrate conditions.
Packaging
Supplied in pre-weighed 12 kg sets (Component A: 11 kg, Component B: 1 kg). Available in light grey, with other colors on request.
Health and safety
Use gloves, goggles, and protective clothing during handling and application. Avoid skin and eye contact; wash with soap and water if exposure occurs.
