MAXURETHANE 2C -W

MAXURETHANE 2C-W is a two-component, water-based polyurethane coating designed for outdoor protection, providing a flexible, durable finish with excellent resistance to abrasion, UV rays and weathering.

Its aliphatic formulation ensures long-term colour stability and mechanical durability, making MAXURETHANE 2C-W suitable for heavy pedestrian or vehicular traffic. It adheres strongly to concrete, mortars and other mineral substrates, without the need for primers. Solvent-free, non-flammable and easy to apply, it delivers an effective barrier against moisture and aggressive agents while maintaining an attractive decorative appearance.

Applications

  • Protective finish for concrete pavements, industrial floors, loading areas and car parks.
  • UV-resistant abrasion coating for MAXELASTIC PUR-HW on exposed roofs with pedestrian access.
  • Protective finish on acrylic systems such as MAXELASTIC and MAXELASTIC STONE, improving abrasion and weathering resistance.
  • Transparent anti-stain protection on mortars, concrete, stone, wood and ceramic tiles.

Advantages

  • Outstanding UV stability with long-term colour retention.
  • High abrasion resistance suitable for vehicles and heavy use.
  • Excellent adhesion to mineral substrates without special primers.
  • Solvent-free, non-flammable and safe for indoor or outdoor applications.
  • Durable coating, resistant to temperature changes and aggressive environments.

How to use

Premix both components separately and pour component B into component A. Mix with a low-speed drill until homogeneous. Apply by brush, roller or airless spray in two to three coats, respecting drying intervals.

Consumption

Typical consumption: 0.10–0.15 kg/m² as primer, followed by 0.20–0.25 kg/m² per coat, with a total of 0.5–0.6 kg/m² depending on surface condition and finish required.

Presentation

MAXURETHANE 2C-W is supplied in pre-measured sets of 22.35 kg (22 kg component A + 0.35 kg component B) and 5 kg (4.925 kg component A + 0.075 kg component B), available in several colours and transparent finishes.

Precautions and safety

Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing during application. Avoid skin or eye contact and inhalation of vapours. Clean tools with water before curing. Dispose of packaging responsibly according to regulations.
