MAXSEAL -S
MAXSEAL -S is a one-component cement-based mortar formulated with special additives and controlled aggregates, designed for waterproofing and protecting concrete and masonry surfaces under moderate hydrostatic pressure, applied manually or by wet shotcreting in thick layers.
Thanks to its excellent thixotropy, MAXSEAL -S can be applied in layers up to 10 mm without sagging, providing strong adhesion and forming an integral part of the substrate. It allows water vapor transmission, ensuring breathability without creating a barrier. The product offers long-lasting waterproofing, resists aggressive environments such as seacoasts, and is suitable for tunnel applications due to its good fire performance. MAXSEAL S is environmentally friendly, solvent-free, easy to mix with water, and requires no maintenance once applied and cured.
Applications
- Thick-layer waterproofing of tunnels, galleries, elevator pits, and buried structures exposed to moderate hydrostatic pressure.
- Levelling and waterproofing of water-retaining structures such as tanks, dams, canals, swimming pools, and fountains.
- Protective coating for concrete, brick, blockwork, or render before applying flexible waterproofing systems like MAXSEAL FLEX.

Application Method
Mix 25 kg of MAXSEAL-S with 5.25–5.75 L of water until a homogeneous, creamy paste is achieved. Apply 3–10 mm thick by trowel or wet shotcreting in one continuous coat on pre-dampened substrate.
Consumption
Approximate consumption is 1.8 kg/m² per mm of thickness, with a maximum layer of 10 mm. Perform an on-site test to determine the exact rate depending on substrate condition.
Packaging
MAXSEAL S is supplied in 25 kg bags, available in grey or white colours, stored in a dry, covered place above 5°C for up to twelve months.
Precautions and Safety
Use protective gloves, goggles, and suitable clothing. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and rinse immediately with water in case of contact. Follow official disposal regulations.
