MAXSEAL FLEX

MAXSEAL FLEX is a bicomponent mortar based on special cements and water-based acrylic resins, designed to provide a flexible and highly adhesive waterproof coating for concrete, masonry, and other substrates.

Thanks to its outstanding formulation, MAXSEAL FLEX ensures effective waterproofing under both positive and negative pressures. It adheres perfectly to concrete, mortar, stone, bricks, and concrete blocks, allowing the substrate to breathe while offering superior protection against carbonation, freeze-thaw cycles, de-icing salts, and chlorine penetration. Suitable for both new and existing structures, MAXSEAL FLEX is easy to apply and environmentally friendly, making it ideal for waterproofing critical infrastructure.

Applications

  • Waterproofing of drinking water tanks, reservoirs, swimming pools, and water mains.
  • Protection of basements, retaining walls, foundations, and tunnels subjected to high water pressure.
  • Internal and external waterproofing of buildings, façades, terraces, and balconies.
  • Tile fixing and waterproofing under tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, and wet rooms.
  • Protection against root penetration in gardens and window boxes.

Advantages

  • Provides a flexible and fully waterproof coating even under severe conditions.
  • Bridges shrinkage and hairline cracks effectively.
  • Acts as an anti-fracture membrane between substrates and finishes.
  • Highly resistant to abrasion, UV rays, saltwater, and de-icing salts.
  • Suitable for potable water contact, chloride-free, and non-toxic.

Mode of Application

Mix component B gradually into component A with a low-speed drill until homogeneous. Apply MAXSEAL FLEX by brush, broom, or trowel in two coats, allowing 16–24 hours between coats.

Consumption

Typical total consumption is 0.40–0.60 lb/ft² (2–3 kg/m²) applied in two coats, depending on substrate conditions and porosity.

Packaging

MAXSEAL FLEX is supplied in pre-weighed sets of 77.2 lb (35 kg) and 15.4 lb (7 kg), available in grey or white, standard or smooth textures.

Precautions and Safety

Wear protective gloves, safety goggles, and appropriate clothing during mixing and application. Avoid contact with eyes and skin and ensure good ventilation.
