MAXSEAL ASPHALT

MAXSEAL ASPHALT is a one-component cement-based grout modified with resins, specially designed for filling porous asphalt pavements, providing a durable surface with improved chemical, mechanical, and abrasion resistance.

Thanks to its very fluid consistency and easy mixing with water, MAXSEAL ASPHALT ensures quick application and high penetration into voids of hot porous asphalt mixtures. Once set, it delivers a continuous, waterproof, and high-performance pavement that combines the elasticity of asphalt with the resistance of concrete. It is suitable for large-scale infrastructure such as airports, bus stations, parking areas, and industrial surfaces requiring enhanced durability against heavy loads and fuel spillage.

Applications

  • Filling of porous asphalt concrete mixtures in airports, bus stations, and parking lots.
  • Restoration of asphalt surfaces in hangars and industrial traffic zones.
  • Improvement of porous pavements requiring waterproofing and resistance to fuels and heavy tire loads.

Advantages

  • Single-component grout, ready to use with only water.
  • Provides a continuous waterproof pavement with high mechanical and chemical resistance.
  • Easy placement manually or with standard asphalt paving equipment.
  • Combines the benefits of asphalt and concrete pavements.

Mode of application

Mix MAXSEAL ASPHALT with 0.3 ± 0.02 L of water per kg using a mixer or paving machine. Apply on cooled porous asphalt, spread with a squeegee, and compact immediately with a vibrating roller.

Consumption

Estimated consumption ranges from 1.3 to 1.6 kg/m² per cm of porous asphalt layer. Exact consumption must be confirmed through preliminary on-site testing.

Presentation

MAXSEAL ASPHALT is supplied in 25 kg bags and 1,000 kg Big-Bags, standard grey color, ensuring flexible options for small or large-scale projects.

Precautions and safety

Use protective gloves, goggles, and suitable clothing during mixing and application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and prevent inhalation of dust during handling.
