MAXSEAL 2C

MAXSEAL 2C is a two-component cement-based flexibilized mortar designed as a waterproofing coating for concrete, masonry, bricks, blocks and mortar substrates, applied under direct or indirect pressure conditions.

Formulated with acrylic resins and selected cements, MAXSEAL 2C provides a flexible, deformable and non-toxic barrier against water ingress. It withstands both positive and negative hydrostatic pressure, resists abrasion, UV rays, freeze/thaw cycles and aggressive environments. With excellent adhesion, vapour permeability and compatibility with tiles or decorative finishes, this product ensures durable waterproofing in civil engineering, industrial and residential projects.

• Waterproofing of tanks, reservoirs, irrigation channels, dams, swimming pools and wastewater plants.
• Protection of basements, retaining walls, foundations, tunnels, galleries and elevator pits.
• External waterproofing of underground structures exposed to water table pressure.
• Façades, mortar renders, blocks, pre-cast elements and masonry in new or old buildings.
• Under-tile waterproofing in bathrooms, kitchens, changing rooms, hospitals and hotels.

Mode of application

Mix resin (Component A) with powder (Component B) using a low-speed drill until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply with brush, broom, roller or spray in two coats, ensuring complete coverage of pores and joints.

Consumption

Estimated consumption: 1,0–1,5 kg/m² per coat, with a total of 2,0–3,0 kg/m² in two coats. Values may vary depending on substrate and application method.

Presentation

MAXSEAL 2C is supplied in pre-weighed 32 kg sets: 7 kg can (Component A) and 25 kg sack (Component B). Available in standard grey and white colours.

Precautions and safety

Use protective gloves, goggles and appropriate clothing during application. Avoid skin and eye contact. In case of contact, rinse with water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
