MAXREST PASSIVE
MAXREST® PASSIVE is a one-component rust converter and anti-corrosion protective coating designed for reinforcing bars, steel and iron surfaces exposed to aggressive environments.
MAXREST® PASSIVE is a ready-to-use liquid treatment that reacts with existing rust, transforming iron oxide into a stable passive layer capable of improving the durability of metallic elements. Its formulation neutralises the corrosion process while providing long-term protection against aggressive agents such as salts, acids and alkalis. MAXREST® PASSIVE is particularly suitable for protecting reinforcing steel in structural concrete repair works, as well as steel and iron elements exposed to industrial atmospheres, coastal environments and chemically aggressive conditions. In addition to its protective function, it acts as an adhesion-promoting primer for subsequent coating systems. Its water-based composition, solvent-free formulation and rapid drying properties make MAXREST® PASSIVE an efficient solution for maintenance, rehabilitation and corrosion protection projects requiring durability and ease of application.
