MAXFLOW 500

MAXFLOW 500 is a one-component self-levelling mortar composed of polymer-modified cement, selected aggregates and metallic fibres, designed for repairing, levelling and finishing concrete pavements indoors and outdoors requiring very high abrasion resistance in 3–8 mm layers.

With extraordinary fluidity, MAXFLOW 500 spreads without trowelling and is easily pumpable. It provides fast curing, excellent abrasion and impact resistance, plus durability against UV radiation, humidity, freeze–thaw cycles and de-icing salts. Environmentally friendly and solvent-free, it only requires water for mixing. MAXFLOW 500 ensures rapid return to service: pedestrian traffic in 8 hours, light traffic in 48 hours and heavy duty in 72 hours, minimising downtime for industrial and commercial flooring projects.

Applications

  • Industrial floors and warehouses exposed to high wear requiring a new resistant surface.
  • Repair and levelling of concrete pavements subject to wheel traffic in parking areas, decks and hangars.
  • Restoration of pavements damaged by freeze/thaw cycles and de-icing salts in sidewalks, causeways and squares.

Advantages

  • Rapid curing: pedestrian 8 h, light traffic 48 h, heavy traffic 72 h.
  • High mechanical, abrasion and impact resistance for long-lasting performance.
  • UV, humidity and freeze–thaw resistant; suitable for exterior use.
  • Self-levelling fluidity, no trowelling required, easy pumping.
  • Eco-friendly cementitious formulation, solvent-free and non-toxic.

Mode of use

Prepare a sound, clean substrate, free of contaminants, and prime with MAXPRIMER FLOOR. Mix one 25 kg bag with 4.8–5.0 litres of clean water using a low-speed drill for 2–3 minutes, let rest, remix and apply within 20–30 minutes. Spread with squeegee and finish with spiked roller.

Consumption

Approximate consumption: 1.7 kg/m² per mm thickness. Values may vary depending on porosity, substrate texture and application method; on-site tests recommended.

Presentation

MAXFLOW 500 is supplied in 25 kg bags. Available in grey, pearl grey, red and green. Shelf life: 12 months in original unopened packaging, stored cool, dry, covered and protected from frost, humidity and direct sunlight.

Precautions and safety

Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Avoid inhaling dust or direct contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, wash immediately with water; seek medical advice if irritation persists.
