MAXFIX
MAXFIX is a monocomponent dispersion adhesive (Class D1) made of water-based acrylic resins, selected fillers and special additives, designed for indoor tiling on ceramic tiles and conventional substrates in thin layers.
Thanks to its excellent thixotropy and strong initial adhesion, MAXFIX prevents sliding and guarantees efficient tile fixing on walls and floors. Its water retention capacity avoids dampening tiles or substrates, improving adhesion and reducing installation times. MAXFIX is easy to apply, requires no mixing, and offers a long open time for perfect positioning of tiles.
Applications
- Fixing ceramic tiles, mosaic tiles and natural stone on indoor floors and walls.
- Tiling over old ceramic coverings, gypsum boards, renders and screed walls.
- Installation of tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, laboratories and clinics.
Advantages
- High adhesion strength and good mechanical performance on various substrates.
- Excellent workability and ease of use with ready-to-apply formulation.
- Reduces labor costs by up to 40–60% and minimizes debris removal.
How to Use
Stir MAXFIX until homogeneous. Apply with a notched trowel on areas up to 2 m², avoiding layers thicker than 2 mm. Press tiles with a slight twisting motion to ensure contact.Consumption
Approximate consumption is 2,0 kg/m² per mm of thickness, depending on substrate roughness and porosity. Perform on-site testing to confirm coverage.Presentation
MAXFIX is available in 5 kg and 25 kg drums, supplied in white paste ready for immediate use.Precautions and Safety
Wear rubber gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Clean tools with water before the product hardens.
