MAXEPOX NOVOLAC
MAXEPOX NOVOLAC is a two-component, solvent-free phenolic epoxy (pure novolac) coating for concrete and metal requiring very high chemical resistance. MAXEPOX NOVOLAC provides excellent adhesion, high-build application in one coat by airless, smooth or anti-slip finish, and outstanding durability in aggressive industrial service.
Formulated for tanks, bunds, pipelines and process areas handling hydrocarbons, solvents and corrosive media, MAXEPOX NOVOLAC delivers long-term protection under immersion and splash exposure. Its flexible epoxy matrix ensures reliable performance in harsh environments with abrasion, chemical attack and thermal cycling.

Mode of application
Mix component B into A with a low-speed drill until homogeneous. Apply MAXEPOX NOVOLAC by brush, roller or airless in two to three coats, observing recoat windows; or one high-build coat by airless when specified.
Consumption
Typical consumption per coat is 0.40–0.50 kg/m²; total application 1.0–1.2 kg/m² to achieve 400–1000 µm. Actual coverage depends on substrate porosity, profile and application method under jobsite conditions.
Presentation
Supplied in pre-weighed 15 L sets: 10 L component A and 5 L component B. Available colours: grey, red, white and cream. Store unopened in dry, covered conditions between 5°C and 30°C.
Precautions and safety
Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Avoid skin and eye contact and inhalation of vapours. Clean tools with MAXEPOX SOLVENT immediately after use. Follow local regulations for handling and disposal.
