MAXEPOX CEM

MAXEPOX CEM is a three-component epoxy-cement mortar, specially formulated for repair, levelling and protection of horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces up to 5 mm thickness.

Due to its balanced composition of water-based epoxy resins and selected cements, MAXEPOX CEM provides high adhesion on damp substrates without the need for primer, acting as a vapour barrier and offering superior chemical resistance compared to conventional mortars. Its thixotropy and easy workability allow application on walls and floors, delivering a natural concrete finish with excellent resistance to abrasion and aggressive environments. Solvent-free, non-toxic and odourless, MAXEPOX CEM is safe to use in industrial facilities, civil works and areas with poor ventilation, ensuring long-lasting protection and reliable performance.

Applications

• Resurfacing, levelling and finishing of deteriorated concrete layers, renders and screeds.
• Restoration and protection of industrial floors, wastewater plants and hydraulic structures.

Mode of application

Mix components A and B mechanically at low speed, then gradually add component C until a homogeneous, lump-free mortar is obtained. Apply by trowel in layers up to 5 mm, finishing with float or sponge.

Consumption

The estimated consumption is 1.95 kg/m² per mm thickness. Values may vary depending on substrate porosity and surface conditions.

Presentation

MAXEPOX CEM is supplied in 20 kg pre-weighed sets (A: 0.75 kg, B: 2.25 kg, C: 17 kg), available in light grey colour.

Precautions and safety

Use protective gloves, goggles and suitable clothing. Avoid skin and eye contact, and do not inhale dust or vapours during mixing and application.
