MAXEPOX CARBOFIX
MAXEPOX® CARBOFIX is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy structural adhesive specially designed for bonding carbon fibre laminates and rods to concrete, masonry and other substrates.
Thanks to its 100% solids formulation, MAXEPOX® CARBOFIX provides excellent adhesion on concrete, metal, wood and composites, without requiring primers. It features high mechanical performance, thixotropic consistency for vertical and overhead application, and strong resistance to salts, diluted acids and alkalis. Its solvent-free and non-flammable nature makes it ideal for poorly ventilated areas. MAXEPOX® CARBOFIX ensures reliable structural reinforcement and is suitable for civil works and residential construction, both indoors and in controlled conditions.
Applications of MAXEPOX® CARBOFIX
- Bonding of carbon fibre laminates (DRIZORO® COMPOSITE) for concrete, metal or wood strengthening.
- Fixing of carbon fibre rods (DRIZORO® CARBOROD) to concrete and masonry elements.
- Structural bonding of steel plates for concrete reinforcement.

Instructions for use
Pour component B into component A and mix with a slow-speed drill (300–400 rpm) until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply immediately after mixing. (consult technical bulletin)

Estimated consumption of MAXEPOX® CARBOFIX is 1.8 kg/m² per mm thickness, depending on surface condition and method. (consult technical bulletin)

MAXEPOX® CARBOFIX is supplied in pre-weighed two-component kits of 5 kg and 15 kg. (consult technical bulletin)
Precautions and safety
