MAXEPOX -AC
MAXEPOX AC is a two-component, water-based epoxy primer formulated with zinc and corrosion inhibitors, designed to provide active protection to metal surfaces exposed to oxidation.
Solvent-free, non-flammable and virtually odourless, MAXEPOX AC creates an effective barrier against water, chlorides and aggressive gases. Its excellent adhesion to steel, aluminium and other metals, combined with outstanding abrasion resistance and hardness, makes it ideal for tunnels, pipelines, tanks or poorly ventilated areas. It acts as a primer coat for protective systems such as MAXURETHANE 2C or MAXEPOX 800, extending the lifespan of metallic structures in harsh environments.

Application method
Pour component B into component A and mix at low speed until a homogeneous product is obtained. Apply one or two coats depending on exposure level.
Consumption
Estimated consumption: 0.25 kg/m² per coat, depending on substrate texture and application method.
Packaging
MAXEPOX AC is supplied in pre-weighed sets of 10 and 20 kg, ready to mix and apply. Standard colour: red.
Health and safety
Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Avoid contact with eyes and skin and inhalation of vapours during mixing and application.
