MAXELASTIC TRANS

MAXELASTIC TRANS is a single component liquid polyurethane membrane, moisture curing and ready to use, designed to provide a transparent, elastic and waterproofing protection for roofs and outdoor areas.

Based on special aliphatic polyurethane resins, MAXELASTIC TRANS forms a continuous, jointless elastomeric coating suitable for long-term waterproofing of concrete, tiles, bricks, wood, stone, glass and metal surfaces. Its excellent crack-bridging ability allows it to absorb thermal movement and vibrations, while maintaining high elasticity from -40°C to 100°C. Resistant to UV radiation, it does not yellow outdoors and offers good abrasion resistance for pedestrian traffic. MAXELASTIC TRANS is vapour permeable, chemically resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, de-icing salts and seawater, and provides durable weather protection against rain, frost and atmospheric agents.

Applications

  • Transparent waterproofing of roofs, terraces and balconies subject to pedestrian traffic.
  • Protection of concrete, mortar, ceramic tiles, metal roofing and fibrocement surfaces.
  • Waterproofing of glass, plastic or polycarbonate transparent covers and roofs.

Advantages

  • Very high elasticity and crack-bridging capacity under extreme weather conditions.
  • Continuous waterproof membrane without joints, sealing cracks permanently.
  • UV resistant, non-yellowing and suitable for outdoor exposure.
  • Good abrasion resistance for pedestrian traffic areas.
  • Ready to use and easy application by roller, brush or airless spray.

Application method

Stir the product mechanically at low speed until homogeneous. Apply by short hair roller, solvent-resistant brush or airless spray in two coats, allowing 10–12 hours between coats.

Consumption

Estimated coverage 0,5–0,6 kg/m2 per coat, achieving 1,0–1,2 kg/m2 total in two coats, with approximately 0,5 mm film thickness per coat.

Packaging

MAXELASTIC TRANS is supplied in 5 kg and 25 kg drums, ready to use, in its original sealed container.

Safety and health

Use protective gloves, safety goggles and suitable protective clothing. Avoid skin and eye contact and ensure adequate ventilation during application and handling.
