MAXELASTIC TRANS -W
MAXELASTIC TRANS -W is a one-component liquid coating based on water-based aliphatic polyurethane resins, designed to form a transparent, elastic and waterproof membrane for terraces, roofs and exterior surfaces.
Once cured by ambient moisture, MAXELASTIC TRANS -W forms a continuous transparent waterproofing membrane with high elasticity and excellent adhesion to common construction substrates such as concrete, cement mortars, ceramic tiles, bricks, wood, glass and fibre-cement. Its formulation provides effective protection against water penetration and weather exposure while maintaining transparency of the treated surface. Thanks to its crack-bridging capacity and flexibility, MAXELASTIC TRANS -W absorbs thermal movements of the substrate and maintains waterproofing performance under varying environmental conditions. In addition, MAXELASTIC TRANS -W offers high resistance to UV radiation without yellowing, ensuring durable protection for exterior surfaces. The product is ready to use and can be easily applied by brush, roller or airless spray, creating a seamless membrane without joints or overlaps for reliable waterproofing performance.
Applications
- Transparent and elastic waterproofing of roofs, terraces and balconies exposed to pedestrian traffic.
- Waterproofing and protection of tiles, metal roofs, cement mortars, concrete, ceramics and fibre-cement substrates.
- Waterproofing of transparent covers made of glass, plastic or polycarbonate.
- Protection of brick, tile and stone surfaces in outdoor areas exposed to weather conditions.

Application method
Stir the product until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Apply by brush, roller or airless spray in perpendicular coats with a consumption of 0.25–0.3 kg/m² per coat and 6–8 hours between layers.
Consumption
Estimated consumption of MAXELASTIC TRANS -W is 0.25–0.3 kg/m² per coat depending on substrate roughness, achieving a total consumption of approximately 0.6–0.9 kg/m² in two or three coats.
Packaging
MAXELASTIC TRANS -W is supplied ready to use in 5 kg cans and 25 kg drums, facilitating storage, transport and direct application on site.
Precautions and safety
Use gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing during handling and application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and follow the recommendations indicated in the product safety data sheet.
