MAXELASTIC PUR -EW

MAXELASTIC PUR-EW is a one-component mortar, ready to use, based on water-based aliphatic polyurethane resins, designed to create a UV-resistant elastomeric waterproofing membrane for roofs and outdoor areas.

With excellent colour stability and weathering resistance, MAXELASTIC PUR-EW forms a continuous, joint-free coating that seals cracks and adapts to complex geometries. It is suitable for flat or sloped roofs, terraces and balconies, and as an exterior protective finish over compatible polyurethane, epoxy and elastomeric systems.

Applications

  • UV and pedestrian traffic protection on roofs waterproofed with polyurethane membranes.
  • Single waterproofing membrane for terraces, balconies, decks, facades and vertical walls.
  • Waterproofing of civil works and industrial facilities such as bridges, cooling towers, and chimneys.
  • Anti-corrosion protection with aesthetic finish for metal structures in marine environments (platforms, silos, cranes).

Advantages

  • Very high elasticity at high and low temperatures, accommodating settlements, vibrations and thermal movements.
  • Excellent crack-bridging capability, acting as an anti-fracture membrane on the substrate.
  • Continuous waterproofing membrane without joints, permanently sealing cracks and fitting the substrate geometry.
  • High colour stability and UV resistance; it does not turn yellow.
  • Ready to use, cold applied, easy manual or air-less spray application; water-based, solvent-free and non-flammable.

Application

Stir MAXELASTIC PUR-EW for 2–3 minutes, preferably with a slow-speed drill (300–400 rpm) until homogeneous. Apply by roller, brush or air-less spray on primed substrate, in crossed coats, respecting drying times between coats.

Consumption

Waterproofing: 0.8–1.0 kg/m² per coat; total 1.6–2.0 kg/m². UV: 0.25–0.50 kg/m² per coat.

Packaging

MAXELASTIC PUR-EW is supplied in a 22 kg drum, ready to use. Available in white, grey, red, green and black; other colours available on request.

Precautions and safety

Wear rubber gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing. Avoid skin and eye contact; wash with soap and water and rinse eyes with clean water.
