MAXELASTIC PUR -BIT
MAXELASTIC PUR -BIT is a one-component, liquid waterproofing product based on bitumen-polyurethane resin, designed to form a seamless elastomeric membrane for the protection and waterproofing of concrete and cement-based mortar substrates.
Once cured, MAXELASTIC PUR-BIT creates a continuous, joint-free membrane with excellent elasticity and crack-bridging capacity, suitable for structures exposed to thermal movements and vibrations. Its cold-applied formulation allows easy application without hot-melt equipment, ensuring safe and efficient installation. Thanks to its high solid content and strong adhesion, MAXELASTIC PUR-BIT provides long-lasting waterproofing and protection for horizontal and vertical surfaces in both indoor and outdoor non-exposed areas, delivering reliable performance under demanding service conditions.
Applications
- Elastic waterproofing of roofs, terraces, balconies under tile and planter boxes.
- External waterproofing and protection of underground structures such as foundations, pipelines and retaining walls.
- Waterproofing of indoor wet areas including bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms.
- Protection of masonry, wood and metal surfaces in non-exposed conditions.

Mode of application
Stir the product until homogeneous and apply directly onto the prepared substrate by brush, roller or airless spray, in two or more coats, allowing proper drying between applications.
Consumption
Estimated consumption is 0.5–0.9 kg/m² per coat, with a total application of approximately 1.0–1.8 kg/m² depending on substrate conditions.
Presentation
MAXELASTIC PUR-BIT is supplied ready to use in 25 kg drums, presented as a black paste suitable for manual or mechanical application.
Precautions and safety
Use protective gloves, safety goggles and appropriate work clothing during application. Avoid skin and eye contact and ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed areas.
