MAXELASTIC PUR

MAXELASTIC PUR is a one-component, ready-to-use liquid polyurethane membrane that cures with ambient humidity, forming a seamless, elastic and durable waterproof coating for roofs and outdoor surfaces.

Designed for long-term waterproofing and protection of concrete, mortar, tiles, bricks and metal surfaces, MAXELASTIC PUR offers high resistance to weathering, UV radiation, chemicals and temperature variations. It ensures excellent adhesion on common construction substrates, providing a permanent waterproof barrier with no joints or connections. Suitable for drinking water contact and easily applied manually or by airless spray without heat or solvents, it offers maintenance-free, long-lasting protection in a wide range of applications.

Applications

• Elastic waterproofing of roofs, terraces, balconies and façades.
• Waterproofing of joints, cracks, chimneys, parapets and other critical details.
• Protection of tiles, metallic coverings, fibre-cement and concrete structures.
• Waterproofing prior to tiling in indoor or outdoor areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.
• External protection of underground concrete and irrigation channels.

Mode of application

Apply two coats of MAXELASTIC PUR by brush, roller or airless spray, crosswise. The first coat may be diluted 10–15 % with MAXSOLVENT. Maintain 10–12 hours between coats, ensuring uniform coverage and full curing before immersion or overlay.

Consumption

Typical consumption: 0.6–0.9 kg/m² per coat, total 1.2–1.8 kg/m² in two coats. For roofs according to ETAG 005: 2.5–2.7 kg/m² in three coats.

Presentation

Supplied in 25 kg drums, available in white, grey, red, green and black colours.

Precautions and safety

Flammable product. Ensure good ventilation and avoid smoking during use. Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing, avoiding contact with skin and eyes.
