DRIZORO GALVAZINC
DRIZORO® GALVAZINC is a sacrificial zinc anode system designed for corrosion control and prevention in reinforced concrete structures exposed to aggressive environments.
DRIZORO® GALVAZINC provides galvanic protection to steel reinforcement embedded in concrete through a specially designed zinc anode system that significantly reduces existing corrosion activity and prevents the initiation of new corrosion processes in repaired areas. The system includes zinc anodes, DRIZORO® GALVAZINC BOND conductive paste and MAXRITE® CATHODIC repair mortar, providing effective and long-lasting protection against carbonation processes, chloride attack and aggressive marine or industrial environments. Once installed, the zinc anode acts as a sacrificial element, galvanically protecting the reinforcement and contributing to extend the service life of reinforced concrete structures.
Applications
- Galvanic protection of reinforced concrete structures exposed to marine or aggressive industrial environments.
- Corrosion control and prevention in structures affected by carbonation or chloride contamination.
- Repair and maintenance of beams, slabs, columns and other reinforced concrete structural elements.

Application method
Install the anodes inside drilled holes in previously prepared and cleaned concrete, ensuring proper electrical contact with the reinforcement through the conductive paste and connection system. Consumption
The amount and distribution of anodes depend on the geometry of the structure, reinforcement density, corrosion level and exposure conditions, and should be defined according to the specific requirements of each project. Health and safety
