The EPD is based on the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) according to ISO 14040 and 14044 standards, developing specific calculation rules (PCR, EN 15804). The EPD analysis includes parameters such as energy consumption, resource depletion, water consumption, solid waste generation, impact on climate change, atmospheric acidification, air and water pollution, ozone layer depletion, and photochemical ozone formation.
