During application, it improves adhesion on smooth or absorbent substrates, increases workability and cohesion, and enhances water retention, reducing the risk of shrinkage and early cracking. Once hardened, MAXCRYL\u00ae increases compressive and flexural strength, improves abrasion and wear resistance, and reduces water absorption by capillary action. It can also be used as a pore-sealing primer to provide a more uniform substrate absorption and improve the performance of subsequent coatings and repair systems. MAXCRYL\u00ae exhibits excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation, cement alkalinity and saponification, maintaining its properties even in immersion conditions.
