MAXCRYL
MAXCRYL® is a one-component liquid acrylic admixture designed to improve the bonding, workability, curing and durability of cement-based mortars and concrete.
MAXCRYL® significantly enhances the physical and chemical properties of cement mortars and concrete in both fresh and hardened states. During application, it improves adhesion on smooth or absorbent substrates, increases workability and cohesion, and enhances water retention, reducing the risk of shrinkage and early cracking. Once hardened, MAXCRYL® increases compressive and flexural strength, improves abrasion and wear resistance, and reduces water absorption by capillary action. It can also be used as a pore-sealing primer to provide a more uniform substrate absorption and improve the performance of subsequent coatings and repair systems. MAXCRYL® exhibits excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation, cement alkalinity and saponification, maintaining its properties even in immersion conditions. Its solvent-free and water-based formulation makes it suitable for repair mortars, levelling layers, bonding slurries, renders, façade protection and numerous construction applications requiring improved durability and adhesion.
